Introducing Our New Triple Citrus Radler - Refreshment on repeat!
This spring, weβre switching things up.
As the days get longer and the tease of summer dances on the doorstep, weβre stepping away from rich stouts and pastry sours and embracing a whole new style. Say hello to our brand new Triple Citrus Radler β your ultimate sunshine sipper.
But first, what is a Radler?
The word Radler means βcyclistβ in German, and legend has it the drink was born out of necessity. Back in 1922, a Bavarian innkeeper named Franz Xaver Kugler found himself overrun with thirsty cyclists on a hot day. To stretch his beer supply, he mixed it with lemonade β and the Radler was born. While the tale may be more folklore than fact, one thingβs for sure: this easy-drinking, fruit-forward beer has stood the test of time. Think of it as the German cousin of the British shandy β refreshing, sessionable, and made for warm weather.

So, what makes our Radler special?
While we appreciate Franzβs savvy tactics, weβre all about flavour. Our Triple Citrus Radler is a naturally brewed shandy with zero shortcuts. Itβs a triple threat of citrus glory: zesty lemon, juicy orange, tangy lime, and a burst of pink grapefruit, all layered into a crisp, light beer base. This brew calls back to the crushability of our award-winning Raspberry Gose* (*a lesser-known German style weβve made our own), with a dry, pleasingly tart finish. Fans of our Lemon Drizzle pastry sour will feel right at home here β weβre using the same vibrant blend of juice, purΓ©e, citrus oils, and pith for that full-spectrum citrus punch. A touch of porridge oats adds body and a subtle haze, rounding out the profile and enhancing the drinkability.
Low in ABV and big on refreshment, this is your perfect beer garden companion β the kind of drink you can enjoy all afternoon without missing a beat.
More than just a thirst-quencher, this is a beer for moments β shared with friends, stretched-out on the grass, soaking up the sun. Vibrant, zesty, and ridiculously drinkable, our Triple Citrus Radler is built for lazy afternoons, beach days, impromptu picnics, and easier mornings after.
