Aura: Pale Ale with a Yonder Twist (Fruit!)
Fruit beer? Pale ale? Tropical IPA? Yes, and no, and also yes.
You probably know us for our fruited sours that taste like pudding (in a good way), or our flavoured stouts that make dessert look boring. Maybe you've sipped on our more serious side… Gold-winning pales, IPAs, and a lager or two, brewed with a suspicious amount of precision for a brewery that puts cake in cans.
Aura brings those worlds together. It’s a proper pale ale, with real fruit character. No fuss. No gimmicks. Just pineapple, passionfruit, good hops and a dry finish that keeps things crisp.
This is a fruit beer that keeps you coming back for more.
Why we brewed it
We wanted a beer that tasted like summer but still drank like beer.
Tropical and juicy, but not sweet.
Hoppy, but not hazy overload.
Fun, but not silly.
But what exactly is a Pastry Sour?
Aura is built on a soft malt base with a firm grip on balance. Then we added fruit where it counts. Not just a hint. Not a whisper. Bags of pineapple and passionfruit flavour. Chosen to lift the hops and bring some sunshine to your pint.
It’s bright, dry and packed with flavour. Built to drink, not just admire.
What’s in the can?
- Pineapple and passionfruit for juicy, tropical brightness
- Nelson Sauvin and Citra hops for citrus, white grape and lychee
- Pale malt base that’s soft, clean and quietly supportive
- 4.5% ABV for easy-drinking energy
Pale ale or fruit beer?
Technically: a fruited pale ale.
Functionally: the fridge beer you didn’t know you needed.
Aura brings together fruit and hops in proper balance. No sugar hit, no haze-overload, and no need to Google what’s going on. Just a well-made pale, with real fruit and a clean finish.
When to drink it
- Sunny afternoons, or ones pretending to be
- BBQs, festivals, or fridge raids
- When you want hops without the bitterness
- When your usual pale feels a bit beige
- When your shorts come out (or you wish they could)
Why it works
We didn’t set out to reinvent fruit beer. We just brewed a pale ale the way we like it, and added fruit flavour that lifts it to another level.
Aura drinks crisp, not sweet. It’s fruity without being sticky. The hops do the lifting, the fruit brings the energy, and the whole thing finishes with a refreshing snap.
No lactose, no shortcuts, no gimmicks. Just fruit, hops, balance, and repeat potential.
